Nga manu korero!

Nga manu korero..

Last week was the manu korero.. The manu korero was held up at Northland
College.  There were SO many people there, it made me feel like I was in a
circus or something similar to that. As I took my seat close to the front row
I could see the speeches beginning. There was a very pretty girl. She came on and
she was holding an elastic band, I said in my mind.”Whaaa this girl looks VERY
confident, wha maybe this might be really good.'' And I was so right her speech
was AMAZING! She talked about how she felt like an elastic band and how she felt
when her close friends turned their backs on her. She said “ I can only be pulled
only so much”. And that was the part I loved. Now look at her she is very famous
well, to me she is. She inspires me heaps even up to today.

  1. Kia Ora Yvette, I’m Izaiah from Paihia School in Te Ngahere. I really like your post about Nga Manu Korero. I like the type of vocabulary that you used for the post. It suits what topic you’re talking about in your post. I watch videos similar to what that lady said. They are very inspiring and they teach you valuable lessons for when you’re older. I also like the photos because they are very high quality and the angle of where the camera is. Your work is very well presented Yvette. Keep up the good work and continue posting because they’re amazing. Later.
