Write to explain:
We have been learning how to mark our own explanation writing and I thought these marks would be appropriate.The biggest highlight for me would have to be finding a good range of big words to draw in people so they get a better understanding of, Why Is A Marae Is Good For The Community. The part I felt was very difficult was understanding how to use the rubrics.

Today my class was trying this new app called 'befunky' it's for editing  pictures to make them better! I found this app really hard because I had never used something like this before. to  I really like this app it's very effective.

This week for maths we were learning about decimals as you can see. I found learning about decimals very and I mean very difficult.

Nga manu korero!

Nga manu korero..

Last week was the manu korero.. The manu korero was held up at Northland
College.  There were SO many people there, it made me feel like I was in a

circus or something similar to that. As I took my seat close to the front row
I could see the speeches beginning. There was a very pretty girl. She came on and
she was holding an elastic band, I said in my mind.”Whaaa this girl looks VERY
confident, wha maybe this might be really good.'' And I was so right her speech
was AMAZING! She talked about how she felt like an elastic band and how she felt
when her close friends turned their backs on her. She said “ I can only be pulled
only so much”. And that was the part I loved. Now look at her she is very famous
well, to me she is. She inspires me heaps even up to today.

We are learning to leave a positive footprint. Today we were learning about what a digital footprint is. I found this learning activity very easy because I had done this before.
